In the podcast project, I used iTunes to subscribe to radio talk shows that talked about money matters and business. All the podcast I chose are popular and are highly recommended. Some of the podcast are run the same way but they often talk of different subjects. My favorite was the Dave Ramsey Show because of the variety of questions he receives and answers, and what he talks about.
I picked Fast Money as a podcast because they ask professionals questions so listeners know that the answers are going to be accurate. Fast Money also talks about stocks of specific businesses, not the S&P 500, NASDAQ, etc. The Disciplined Investor talks about the stock exchange and tells people how best to invest and with which companies.
The Wall Street Journal talks about budgeting, jobs, education debt and budgeting and debt, and gives advice on these subjects. I selected the Journal because I think I can learn many things from it on the subjects of budgeting and student debt (I think I can learn what expenses I should have while in college). Motley Fool Money was my second favorite because the hosts made it interesting and tried to put humor in it. I can also learn from this podcast because they tell the listeners what businesses are doing and what stocks should do.
Marketplace Money talks about news of money and debt so I chose it as a podcast so I can learn what is going on in the world. NPR News also talks about money matters that are happening in the world (mainly the U.S.) and I think it would be a great idea to have two news podcast.
